This wedding was so sweet for me because I’ve known Emily since we were in PRESCHOOL! It’s kind of crazy to watch someone you’ve been friends with since you were single digits old walk down the aisle. And it was really special for me to not only be there for the whole day, but get to capture it as well. It was a beautiful day at the Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens with purple flowers and accents sprinkled throughout the huge venue, a beautiful live string quartet for the ceremony, where Jess and Emily tied a fisherman’s knot together to symbolize their commitment (Jess is a fisherman from Alaska!), and a reception with great toasts from the bridal party. I’ve never seen so many people stay ’til the very end of a wedding, making the green sparkler send-off (into a surprise vintage car) extra fun for everyone!
Thank you, Emily & Jess for letting me be such a big part of your most special day. It was really such an honor for me. I wish you two all the best as you start this new adventure!
A big thank you to Stephen from The Illuminated Collective for being an awesome second-shooter at the last minute!
