24 Jun Jared & Emily’s Backyard Phoenix Wedding
Emily & Jared first met as coworkers in 2011 and it didn’t take them long to start dating. Fast forward four years into the future when they were sitting at Washington Park near Vancouver, WA together, looking out over the San Juan Island when Jared dropped to one knee and asked Emily to be his wife. As she said an absolute “YES!”, boats passing by blew their air horns and sprayed water into the air, shouting their congratulations to the newly engaged couple. Jared and I have known each other for a long time, and getting to hear this sweet story and meet his beautiful bride made this an extra special wedding for me! These two are unassuming, easy-going, full of life and crazy in love. You can see it in their sideways glances at each other and their uncontainable joy in the photos of their day. They had an intimate ceremony in Emily’s childhood backyard, surrounded by their dearest friends and family and their reception was full of handmade details, sweet & funny toasts, and LOTS of dancing. We loved Emily’s classic, red-lipped look that went perfectly with her lacy, sheer-backed keyhole dress. Jared and his guys sported sharp-looking suspenders and fun hidden socks that they liked to show off throughout the day. The cake by Nami was to-die-for gorgeous (and so yummy!). We loved this day and loved this couple and are so happy we get to share it with you! Blessings to you, sweet Mr. and Mrs. Wittig!
Huge thanks to all the fantastic vendors we got to share this day with!
